July 01, 2026, 07:00 AM

Fuel Transport announced the recent appointment of Sana Chaarani as Vice President of Technology, reinforcing the company’s continued investment in tech and digital infrastructure as key drivers of long-term growth and operational excellence.

In this role, Chaarani will lead Fuel’s tech strategy, digital transformation, IT operations and cybersecurity agenda to support the company’s intelligent logistics network that is built for modern supply chains.

With more than 25 years of experience spanning enterprise IT, architecture and large-scale transformation initiatives, Chaarani brings deep expertise in building scalable technology foundations, leading complex modernization programs and aligning technology strategy with operational and business outcomes.

Her appointment reflects Fuel Transport’s continued investment in technology as the company expands its logistics network, warehousing capabilities, and intelligent transportation infrastructure. As supply chains become increasingly complex and data-driven, Fuel is focused on building scalable digital capabilities that enhance operational efficiency and resilience to enhance the customer experience across its ecosystem.

Chaarani will oversee Fuel’s technology roadmap across infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity and digital innovation initiatives, while partnering closely with business leaders to ensure technology investments directly support customer needs and operational performance.

“Technology today is no longer a support function within logistics – it is foundational to how modern transportation networks operate, scale, and evolve,” said Robert Piccioni, CEO at Fuel Transport.

“Sana brings an exceptional combination of strategic vision and hands-on execution. Her experience leading complex transformation initiatives across global organizations will be instrumental as we continue building the scalable, secure and intelligent foundation that supports both our customers and our long-term ambitions.”

Before joining Fuel Transport, Sana held senior technology and enterprise transformation leadership roles at JAMP Pharma Group, Pratt & Whitney, Hydro-Québec, and CN, where she led large-scale modernization, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture initiatives while building high-performing teams and customer-centric technology strategies.

“I’m excited to join Fuel Transport at a pivotal moment in both the company’s growth roadmap and the logistics industry overall,” said Chaarani. “Logistics is a particularly exciting industry right now as technology increasingly shapes how companies operate, scale, and deliver value across complex supply chains. The opportunity to help build technology capabilities that directly enable growth, resilience, and client experience is incredibly compelling, and I look forward to working alongside the team to continue strengthening the digital foundation that will support Fuel’s next phase of growth.”
