Bay Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Heck to Vice President, Business Services. In this role, Heck will lead the development and growth of Bay Federal's Business Services Department, overseeing business loan origination, underwriting, portfolio management, business deposit services, and treasury management, while expanding the credit union's lending and deposit products for local business members.
Heck brings more than 30 years of commercial banking experience with banks and credit unions. He began his career as a teller and worked his way up to senior leadership. Most recently, he served as VP, Business Services at Peak Credit Union. Prior to that, he was VP, Commercial Banker at First Citizens Bank, and held roles at Venture Bank, starting as a Commercial Loan Assistant before advancing to VP, Commercial Banker.
Heck holds a Commercial Lending Certification and completed the Western CUNA Management School program from 2015 to 2017. He previously served on the board of the United Way of Lewis County in Chehalis, Washington, including a term as Board President, from 2005 to 2013.
