Pinnacle has added six experienced advisors to its equipment finance team, growing the practice at an important milestone in its history. Joining the team are Bob Quinn, financial advisor in Orlando; Rich Solari, financial advisor in Charlotte; Matt Senseney, credit advisor in the National Capital Region; Regina Edwards, financial advisor associate in Charlotte; Laura Thompson, senior legal counsel in Charlotte; and Philip McNamara, engineer, IT systems support, in Birmingham.

“Our Equipment Finance business continues to attract exceptional talent because of our culture and our commitment to building lasting client relationships,” said Kris Foster, president of Equipment Finance & Specialty Industries at Pinnacle. “Each of these professionals brings valuable expertise that strengthens our ability to deliver specialized financing solutions while supporting our purposeful growth across the Southeast and beyond.”

Quinn joins the firm with more than three decades of equipment finance and commercial banking experience. Most recently, he served as vice president and regional manager for TD Bank Equipment Finance and Hancock Whitney Bank, where he developed financing solutions for commercial, municipal, education and nonprofit clients. Earlier in his career, he founded Treasure Coast Capital, growing the independent equipment finance company to more than $200 million in loan and lease originations.

Solari brings more than 20 years of equipment finance leadership experience, most recently serving with F.N.B. Corporation, where he partnered with commercial bankers and credit teams to deliver equipment financing solutions for businesses across the Carolinas. He also spent more than a decade leading regional sales teams for Wells Fargo Equipment Finance, helping drive profitable growth and deepen client relationships.

Senseney joins the firm as a credit advisor serving the National Capital Region. He most recently served as director of Structuring and Underwriting for Truist Equipment Finance, where he specialized in credit underwriting, portfolio risk management and customized financing solutions. During his career, he has approved several hundred million dollars in equipment finance transactions while maintaining strong portfolio performance. He holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Lease & Finance Professional designations.

Edwards brings nearly 20 years of banking and equipment finance experience, most recently serving as a senior closing specialist for Truist Equipment Finance’s aviation business. Her background includes managing complex commercial loan documentation, coordinating with legal and credit teams and delivering exceptional service throughout the financing process.

Thompson most recently served as senior vice president and associate general counsel for Truist Bank, where she provided legal guidance for equipment finance transactions across a broad range of industries. With more than two decades of experience in commercial finance and secured lending, she has advised business units on complex transactions, regulatory compliance and risk management.

McNamara brings extensive experience developing and supporting equipment finance platforms, most recently serving as a software engineer with Regions Financial. His background includes implementing technology solutions, supporting lease and loan systems and improving operational efficiency. He also holds the Certified Lease & Finance Professional designation.

The additions come as the Equipment Finance team continues to build on its national momentum following Pinnacle’s merger with Synovus earlier this year. The team recently climbed to No. 46 in the 2026 Monitor 100 rankings of the nation’s largest equipment finance companies, moving up one spot from last year. The annual ranking recognizes the country’s top equipment finance firms based on portfolio size and industry performance. The team will also celebrate its five-year anniversary in September.
