In the year since officially launching its Equipment Finance vertical in late 2025, MBG has successfully funded 9 transactions through both direct and indirect channels, supporting businesses across a diverse range of industries and credit profiles.
“We thank our funding partners, referral sources, and legal counsel for their trust and support as we re-enter the equipment finance space. As a debt-only provider focused on transactions ranging from $1–8MM, MBG’s priority is to deliver certainty of execution, competitive pricing, and reliable, consistent credit decisions. We look forward to becoming an active and growing funding source, creating distinctive value across individual transactions, portfolios, and warehouse lines,” said Steven Caligor, EVP and Chief Lending Officer.
“This success is a direct reflection of the dedication and expertise of our team, led by Max Furman and Kelly Maloney, combined with our deep industry experience and credit knowledge which allow us to efficiently evaluate a broad range of industries and credit profiles, including middle-market, investment-grade, and government and municipal opportunities,” continued Caligor, who has spent the past 25 years building and expanding equipment finance, CRE, C&I and healthcare platforms.
