Credit One Bank has announced the addition of several accomplished leaders to its executive line-up, reinforcing the organization’s already strong leadership team. These hires bolster the areas of legal and compliance, human resources and strategic operations as the Bank continues to grow and maintain its position as an industry leader in banking and financial services.
These key appointments include:
- Monika Selmont – Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer
- Paul Vincent – Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer
- Melissa Schneeman – Chief Human Resources Officer
Selmont has been appointed Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer, where she oversees the Bank’s legal, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance functions. A seasoned legal executive with more than 25 years of experience spanning the financial services and technology sectors, Selmont has advised executive leadership and boards of directors on complex legal, regulatory, and business matters while leading high-performing legal and compliance teams. Prior to joining Credit One Bank, she served as Senior Vice President & Deputy General Counsel at Discover Financial Services, where she led litigation, payment services, privacy, intellectual property, and legal operations. Throughout her career, Selmont has successfully guided organizations through regulatory matters, organizational transformation and strategic growth while developing innovative legal and risk-management solutions.
Credit One Bank has appointed Vincent as Executive Vice President and the Bank’s first-ever Chief Operating Officer. In this newly created role, he supports the Bank’s Operations, Customer Experience, Enterprise Risk Strategy and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) functions, helping drive operational excellence and continued innovation across the organization. Vincent brings more than 25 years of banking experience to Credit One Bank, most recently serving as Senior Advisor in the Financial Institutions Practice at Boston Consulting Group. Prior to that, he served as President of USAA Bank, where he led a nationwide digital bank serving more than nine million members, and previously held several senior leadership roles at Capital One. His extensive background in banking operations, business transformation, customer experience, and strategic growth make him an invaluable addition to the Bank’s Executive Committee.
Schneeman has been appointed Chief Human Resources Officer, where she leads the Bank’s human-resources strategy, overseeing talent acquisition, employee relations, total rewards, employee engagement, leadership development, and other key functions concerning Credit One’s workforce. Schneeman brings more than 20 years of human resources experience across the financial services, professional services, and consulting sectors. Prior to joining Credit One, Schneeman spent 10 years at FTI Consulting, where she helped build, scale, and transform human resources capabilities across a dynamic global consulting organization. She brings extensive experience in organizational transformation, talent strategy and leadership development, supporting business growth through innovative people-first initiatives.
