Capital Credit Union announced the hiring of Dave Hatton as director of enterprise risk management. Hatton has 20 years of professional experience in the financial services industry.
As director of enterprise risk management, Hatton will be responsible for the development, administration and continuous improvement of Capital Credit Union's Enterprise Risk Management Program, including enterprise risk assessment, risk monitoring and reporting, policy governance, security oversight, business continuity planning, vendor risk management, fidelity bond and insurance administration and loss prevention activities. He will serve as a strategic resource to management in identifying, evaluating, mitigating, and monitoring risks that could affect Capital Credit Union's operations, financial condition, reputation, or strategic objectives.

Hatton joins the Capital Credit Union team from the North Dakota Department of Financial Institutions where he worked as a credit union examiner since 2015.
