Frechette Rejoins The Alta Group

June 08, 2015, 07:12 AM

The Alta Group’s newest director is Paul W. Frechette – a name already familiar to many clients for his previous work with the firm, CEO John C. Deane announced today. Frechette has returned to Alta as director of client relations and consulting, working closely with captive and vendor leasing companies and other finance businesses to build new markets, drive revenue growth and improve market positioning.

Known for his accomplished career in captive and vendor finance, he most recently served as a business unit manager with Bank of the West Equipment Finance Division.

"We are delighted that Paul is rejoining Alta. Not only has a friend returned but a seasoned equipment financing expert who strengthens both our general resources and our captive/vendor program focus, all in a period of rapidly growing activity,” Deane said.

In his previous work for Alta, Frechette managed the consultancy’s captive and vendor finance practice. Earlier in his career, he was executive vice president at EverBank Commercial Finance (formerly Tygris Commercial Finance), part of the management team responsible for the growth of its vendor finance business. His background also includes positions as corporate vice president and chief operating officer of Sun Microsystems Global Financial Services, which is now part of Oracle Credit Corporation, and as president of Key Equipment Finance’s commercial leasing services group.

Frechette is an active member of the Equipment Leasing & Finance Association (ELFA), where he previously chaired its Vendor Programs Business Council Steering Committee. He is a former treasurer and vice chairman of the Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation. A graduate of the University of Rhode Island, Frechette is an advisory board member for the institution’s business school.
