Bibby Financial Services announced the promotion of Barry Kastner to Executive Vice President, Head of Business for the company’s large business unit after being hired to lead the company’s asset-based lending platform just four months prior. The rapidly expanding large business unit focuses on providing asset-based lending and factoring solutions to companies with annual credit needs between $1 million and $20 million.

Bibby Financial Services is an independent and specialized finance company offering asset-based loans and factoring solutions to businesses across the United States and Canada. Its specialized financing facilities suit businesses of any size in virtually any industry. The company’s quick, customized and flexible financing solutions have earned it a reputation for providing funding when banks and other financial providers can’t or won’t.

Kastner brings close to 40 years of experience in commercial banking and asset-based lending to the new role. He is a highly seasoned industry veteran and has received numerous honors, including the Distinguished Achievement Award in Banking and Finance from B’Nai B’rith International, as well as the National Jewish Health Humanitarian Award at the New York Financial Industries Dinner.

“Since joining the company in April, Barry has formed and fostered countless relationships among a broad range of customers,” says Leigh Lones, Bibby Financial Services Americas CEO. “We have experienced an explosion of growth in our large business unit since the first of the year and expect that trend to continue on into 2016. Barry’s demonstrated leadership skills since joining the team heavily influenced our decision to appoint him as head of business.”
