Key Equipment Finance announced it has named Martin Davies vice president, business development, Canadian operations. In this role, Davies will be responsible for enhancing, structuring and managing the company’s Canadian direct and energy sales vertical.

“Martin has a proven track record in the equipment financing industry and brings more than 25 years of experience driving growth and exceeding operating plan targets,” said Richard McAuliffe, country manager of Key Equipment Finance’s Canadian operations. “He has a strong background in large-scale transactions that will be of great value to our corporate and end-user clients. I look forward to working with him in this new role.”

Davies previously was director of sales, southwestern Ontario, at Honeywell, where he also held various senior sales and management leadership positions. Before that, he was a program manager for Key Equipment Finance Canada and director of sales at GE Capital IT Solutions Canada.  

Davies has a bachelor’s degree from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.
