PNC Energy Capital announced the appointment of Michael L. Ziemke as vice president and senior account manager based in New York. Ziemke brings 20 years of experience in renewable energy lease financing and solar project technologies. Reporting to Dick Rai, senior vice president and manager for PNC Energy Capital, Ziemke will serve as the primary interface with energy services industry clients throughout the life cycle of the renewable transactions, including sale lease backs, partnership flips and loans/capital leases.

Ziemke comes to PNC from Sunedison, one of the largest global renewable energy development companies, where he led the capital innovations team focused on financing new market opportunities in solar and storage technologies.  Ziemke earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Utah.
