Crestmark Equipment Finance Announces Promotions

Scott Grady, President of Crestmark Equipment Finance (CEF), announced the promotions of three staff members: Christina Chase, Jodi McNamara and Jamie Buchanan.

CEF, located in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Crestmark Bank. CEF was established in October 2014 with Crestmark’s acquisition of TIP Capital -- a leading independent provider of equipment finance, asset-management solutions, and flexible vendor financing programs.

Grady said, “I am pleased to announce these promotions. They are in recognition of their hard work, and we look forward to them taking on greater responsibility as we grow Crestmark Equipment Finance.” 

Christina Chase has been promoted to assistant vice president, documentation manager. She reports to Stacey Farmer, vice president, operations. Chase became part of Crestmark in October 2014 when the company acquired Bloomfield Hills, Michigan-based TIP Capital. Chase joined TIP Capital in 2004 as a contract administrator, and was promoted to documentation manager in January 2014. Prior to TIP Capital, she worked for Fudge Business Forms, Colorworks, and Rotary Multiforms in accounting and customer service roles. She has a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University.

Jodi McNamara has been promoted to assistant vice president, lease account manager from senior accountant. McNamara reports to CEF Vice President, Controller Dave McCallum. She became part of Crestmark in October 2014 when the company acquired Bloomfield Hills, Michigan-based TIP Capital. She joined TIP Capital in 2003 as an accountant. Prior to TIP Capital, she worked for ComTech Capital and Rave Financial Services. McNamara has a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University.

Jamie Buchanan has been promoted to senior tax accountant from tax accountant, a position she held since 2011. Buchanan, who has nearly 30 years of experience in tax accounting, reports to Laurie Larabell, assistant vice president, tax director. Buchanan became part of Crestmark in October 2014 with the bank’s acquisition of TIP Capital; she was hired at TIP in 2011 as a tax accountant. Buchanan’s earlier positions include: senior tax analyst at Mercedes Benz Financial Services; tax analyst at Compuware Corporation; tax accountant for McDonnell Douglas Capital Corporation; tax specialist for KPMG; and senior staff accountant for Frank’s Nursery and Crafts. Buchanan attended Wayne State University.
