DLL COO Appointed CEO of Rabobank Mortgage Services Subsidiary

Carlo van Kemenade will be appointed Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Executive Board January 1, 2018 of Obvion, a subsidiary of Rabobank, succeediing Ronald Touwslager. Van Kemenade joins Obvion from De Lage Landen International B.V. (DLL) where he started in 1990 and was appointed Chief Operating Officer and Member of the Executive Board in March 2013.

Berry Marttin, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Obvion and Member of the Managing Board of Rabobank said, “Carlo van Kemenade is a very experienced manager. He has a great customer focus and is strong in change management. I am very pleased that he will come on board to lead Obvion to the next phase.”

Carlo van Kemenade said, “Obvion is a well-known brand in The Netherlands. It is a great and inspiring company that should be proud of what it has achieved so far. Moreover, it has proud and enthusiastic people who put the customer at the center of everything they do. With that Obvion has great potential to together make big next steps in its development. The people at Obvion make the difference and I will give all my energy and passion to facilitate and encourage the teams. Together we will determine the direction and surprise the customers. The current Chairman, Ronald Touwslager, joined Obvion from Rabobank in 2011. Ronald Touwslager stated, “Obvion has transitioned into an extremely customer-focused and agile company. Now that we enter the next phase in our development, I have decided, in mutual agreement, that this would be a good moment to bring in new leadership. I will leave a customer focused and innovative Obvion that has high NPS scores and excellent results. A nice starting point for Carlo. My focus will now be on pursuing a new challenge.”

Berry Marttin added, “Ronald has been able to realize a successful transition that is highly valued by the customers of Obvion. We would like to sincerely thank Ronald for this.”
