Fleet Advantage announced it was named by Food Logistics as a Top 100 Software and Technology Provider in 2017 for the fourth-straight year, highlighting the top technology companies for the global food and beverage supply chain.

Food Logistics has again recognized Fleet Advantage for ATLAAS (Advanced Truck Lifecycle Administrative Analytics Software), the company’s innovative data analytics software and its continuous enhancements. ATLAAS now has over five billion miles of data as part of the company’s tracking and analysis, and it’s a leading reason why Fleet Advantage is now servicing 25 of the top 100 truck fleets in the country.

Fleet executives continue to seek ways to leverage technology that delivers greater efficiencies, while driving costs out of their operations. But at the same time, they have to do more with less resources. The broader supply chain has continued to be defined by ultra-competitive pressures, and in many cases actionable technology is proving to be the differentiator for many organizations.

ATLAAS is a one-stop resource that gives fleet executives an entire suite of pertinent fleet information, and by leveraging analytics and visualization techniques, enables them to manage their fleet with a few keystrokes. ATLAAS also identifies the truck’s TIPPINGPOINT® – the point at which it costs more to operate an existing truck compared with replacing it with newer, more efficient equipment. What’s more, Fleet Advantage’s robust data resources allow for detailed benchmarking reports for various industries in addition to real-time data monitoring and reporting.

“The majority of fleet organizations now realize the benefit that actionable, tech-driven resources can bring to their operation, particularly with efficiencies and operational costs,” said Jim Griffin, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technical Officer at Fleet Advantage. “We’re pleased to offer technology resources, as well as a team of analysts to help clients arrive at profit-enhancing decisions for their business.”

“New developments and innovations in the software and technology sector are making sizeable impacts on the global food supply chain,” notes Lara L. Sowinski, editorial director for Food Logistics and its sister publication, Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “The result is a greater visibility, improved regulatory compliance, enhanced shelf life for perishables, and the emergence of a more proactive and nimble food supply chain that benefits both the food industry and its logistics partners, as well as the end consumer.”
