Locations: Westlake Village, CA & Burlington, MA

Reports to: Director of Sales

Job Summary:

The Account Executive will build/grow customer relationships. The Account Executive is the “face and voice” of the company and will help develop new business and retain existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiates and develops high-level relationships with equipment vendors/dealers. The main responsibilities of this role are existing customer retention, driving adoption and growth
  • Attains 100% of assigned individual funding quota by initiating outbound calls to existing vendors and new accounts to sell TimePayment Corporation (TPC) as a monthly payment option
  • Develop and implement account plans for high potential relationships
  • Enhance profiling and identification of initial CTQs (Critical to Quality)
  • Forecasting for high potential vendors
  • Builds pipeline of potential future business equal to two times monthly quota
  • Forecasts month and quarter originations to within 10% of actual results
  • Exceeds outbound call objectives through call cadence with assigned vendor accounts
  • Identifies business opportunities, develops pipeline, forecasts originations each month and develops incremental action plans to close gaps between forecast and actual quota
  • Establish best products and services for the vendor
  • Coordinate training
  • Ensure appropriate vendor coverage (based on segment and cover model)
  • Penetration of key accounts and grow the territory
  • Active monitoring of account activity
  • Diligently uses sales management database (Salesforce) for sales processing; captures relevant data, keeps comprehensive and accurate notes in database
  • Effectively uses Internet and other resources to research vendor accounts and to better understand vendor’s industry and business. Must be skilled at using referral prospecting.
  • Works effectively as part of a team with Acquisition Reps, Transaction Support Reps and Vendor Service Reps, exerts positive influence, serves as a team resource, and supports TimePayment’s mission
  • Maintains intelligence on competition, understands competitors' strengths and weaknesses and effectively articulates TimePayment’s competitive advantage
  • Keeps management informed about geographic and market opportunities
  • Maintains positive outlook, professionalism and technical and product knowledge
  • Assists Director where appropriate

Experience:
  • 3+ years Outbound Telesales account management on monthly quota
  • Proven track record exceeding 100% of quota
  • Outbound call cadence and referrals
  • Consultative sales and needs analysis
  • Adept at building and tracking pipeline of prospects
  • Measuring and achieving call data standards including dials and talk time
  • Using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) - (Salesforce.com preferable)
  • Accustomed to forecasting and understands forecasting methodology
  • Using time management skills for prospecting through existing vendors and administrative duties
  • Functioning successfully in deadline oriented high activity work environment
