Funding /Documentation Professional
Location: Ponte Verde, FL

Navitas, headquartered in Ponte Vedra, Florida provides equipment financing solutions to small and medium sized businesses directly and through developing referral programs with equipment vendors, lease and loan brokers, and strategic alliances.

This position requires a highly motivated person to be responsible for preparing, reviewing and auditing new contracts to insure proper contract set up and proper contract documentation. The incumbent will also be responsible for parts of funding approval. You may be asked to work on special projects with the Chief Credit Officer as we continue to grow our platform. May also perform document control by reviewing documents before sending to Booking Department and archived. Document Specialists may work as part of a documents team or may specialize in a particular type of document such as preparing contracts

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create, review, and audit contracts for accuracy and completeness
  • Corresponds and communicate with Brokers, vendors, lessee borrowers and co-works regarding funding, verbal and documentation questions
  • Funding set up
  • Filing, scanning and follow-up on contract issues (UCC, UPS, lease documents spreadsheets)
  • Communicating documentation requirements with customers, credit, and sales teams in the various offices
  • Working closely with other departments to ensure accuracy in processing
  • Creating and distributing reports, assisting in internal and external audits
  • Participate in various projects
Skills & Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years equipment leasing experience
  • Must have attention to detail
  • Must possess great analytical and problem solving skills
  • Must be able to write, speak, and interact well with others
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Must have good organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be skilled with computers and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
  • Knowledge of advanced Excel functions is preferred
  • Key person would have experience working with Brokers and Titled vehicle transactions
