Lendio and the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council (SBE Council), a leading advocacy and education organization dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship and strong small business growth, announced a partnership designed to support the funding needs of more than 100,000 small business owners and entrepreneurs.

The current process of accessing growing or working capital continues to be a challenge for small business owners. Together, Lendio and the SBE Council will jointly provide support and resources to small businesses and entrepreneurs, helping them access the capital required to compete, grow and survive.

“We are thrilled to partner with one of the leading advocacy groups for small business owners – a group largely in need of diverse loan options,” said Brock Blake, CEO and co-founder, Lendio. “This partnership recognizes a new level of commitment from both Lendio and the SBE Council, enhancing our shared efforts in building a stronger business community. We look forward to providing SBE Council’s membership base with access to educated funding thus enabling them to compete in today’s marketplace.”

Lendio brings together a diverse group of more than 75 vetted lenders and small business owners to access capital in an online marketplace. Using Lendio’s platform, SBE Council members, made up of a diverse customer base across varying industries, will be matched to lenders best suited to their funding needs.

“Our strategic partners are essential in helping us offer small business owners the resources they need to tackle important issues that affect their viability and growth,” said Karen Kerrigan, CEO and president, SBE Council. “Lendio is a trusted platform that has a terrific reputation of matching experienced lenders with like-minded small businesses and we couldn’t be more excited to join forces with them. We anticipate both ecosystems will benefit greatly from our alignment in providing solutions to best serve our members.”
