O’Brien Appointed Invigors EMEA Network Member for Ireland

January 16, 2018, 07:10 AM

Asset Finance consulting and services partnership Invigors EMEA LLP, the European arm of The Alta Group, announced that Kieran O’Brien has been appointed Network Member for Ireland.

Formerly Operations Director at Cisco Capital EMEAR, O’Brien joined the firm as an associate in December 2017, based out of Dublin, Ireland. After a highly successful year working with captive and vendor clients across Europe, he is moving the business into its next phase of development with the establishment of Invigors Ireland, for which he is the EMEA Network Member.

O’Brien’s appointment further strengthens Invigors’ vendor and captive finance team in Europe and ensures the firm is well-positioned to support clients in the fast-changing leasing and asset finance market both in Ireland and across Europe. O’Brien commented: “I am delighted to accept this appointment as an integral member of the Invigors team. Now is the time to position the business in Ireland for its next stage of growth. The European captive and vendor markets are facing major challenges driven by technology and the revolution in financial services, in addition to the economic and political upheavals currently taking place.”

An internationally experienced captive and vendor finance specialist, O’Brien has brought over 25 years of experience in that sector to Invigors’ clients.  In 17 years at Cisco Capital, O’Brien project managed the establishment and development of its captive infrastructure in over twenty countries in EMEAR and was a board member on ten of Cisco’s captives.

Commenting on the announcement, Chris Boobyer, Senior Partner at Invigors, said: “Kieran’s wealth of experience and expertise in captive and vendor finance operations has proved to be an asset to the business and our clients. We are delighted to recognise this through his appointment as Network Member for Ireland and believe that he will continue to add strength and depth to our capabilities here in EMEA as well as across the wider Alta Group.”
