Wintrust Commercial Finance (WCF), a division of Wintrust Asset Finance Inc., is expanding its direct origination team in the Western Region of the U.S with the addition of Armando Yepez as Senior Account Manager.

Yepez joins WCF with more than five years of experience in the equipment finance industry. He previously worked with Summit Funding Group and CG Commercial Finance, where he was responsible for originating equipment leases and loans to a wide range of middle market and enterprise companies.

“Armando will play a vital role in growing brand recognition and directly originating new equipment finance transactions with middle market and enterprise companies,” said Robert Harris, Vice President of the Western Region at WCF.

“Wintrust has served a wide range of investment grade and non-investment grade firms since our inception, providing expert equipment and project financing services, including customized leasing terms and unique payment options,” said Joe Thompson, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President at WCF. “As we move to expand our direct origination efforts, our dedicated direct sales team will be boosted by Armando’s prior experience and long-standing relationships.”

Yepez will be based out of WCF’s office in Irvine, CA.
