This client is a specialist in agricultural financing. With over 50 years of experience they sell directly to customers as well as through dealers in North America. Owned by an international bank that is considered a market leader in financial products, these positions would be a sound move for any qualified candidate.
With a focus on the vendor side, the Business Development Manager would be responsible for building commercial contacts and supporting dealers, identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, and putting in place new business relationships with equipment dealers and some large, end user customers as well as structuring big deals and defining/implementing dealer sales plans. The position will require regular weekly travel within the assigned territory, pro-active relationship management skills and the ability to work with multiple departments and parties to structure a transaction.
Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years business development experience within the vendor finance industry, preferably with an agricultural focus. The company offers an excellent compensation package including a base plus bonus and full benefits.
