LEAF Commercial Capital, Inc. (“LEAF”), a leader in the equipment leasing and finance industry, announced that it has become a Gold Technology Partner of Digital Gateway, the fastest growing dealer management software platform in the office equipment industry. For LEAF, the move is evidence of its strong and continued commitment to the office automation marketplace, and is a logical extension of LEAF’s new 360° CPU solution.

The LEAF 360° CPU system completely redefines cost-per-usage billing by dramatically streamlining and improving processing of CPU contracts. LEAF developed 360° CPU after conducting an exhaustive study of the equipment-leasing marketplace to determine needs and platform requirements. Through this process, it became clear that the greatest problem the dealers faced was the amount of labor necessary to upload meter reads for billing purposes. By partnering with Digital Gateway LEAF can offer its customers the flexible functionality of 360°CPU, combined with the automated efficiency of Digital Gateway’s Dealer Management Solutions, resulting in a significantly improved automated billing solution.

As a Gold Technology Partner of Digital Gateway, LEAF is releasing an automated “front end” for its customers who use Digital Gateway’s dealer management software. The LEAF interface streamlines the process of transferring asset and transactional data from the Digital Gateway system, thereby reducing meter errors and accelerating the billing process.

According to Miles Herman, President and COO of LEAF, “We are very committed to the office automation industry, and the technology partnership with Digital Gateway is a perfect fit for both companies. Our corporate focus is in implementing ongoing process improvement that results in higher value product and service offerings for those we serve. There is no doubt that the LEAF interface will save dealers a tremendous amount of time. It’s a turnkey process; all the dealer needs to do is sign up for it. When the meters are due the system will automatically request a nightly billing file from Digital Gateway and then process it. And when new contracts are entered, our system automatically verifies all equipment information before the billing cycle is actually due in order to ensure the first meter reads are successful.”
