Reuters: General Electric Co.’s Immelt Says U.S. Needs to Try Harder

Reuters reported that General Electric Co. CEO Jeff Immelt says the U.S. as a nation, is not trying hard enough to win business oversees and this lack of focus is contributing to the U.S. economic slump.

As reported, Immelt, top adviser to the Obama administration on the economy and jobs believes the U.S. can improve and told a Thomson Reuters Newsmaker event in New York City “We haven’t really tried as hard as we can to compete, educate and sell our products around the world and I think we can do better.”
