According to a report from Heavy Duty Trucking (HDT), Uber has officially launched Uber Freight, an app that matches trucking companies with loads to be hauled.
As reported by HDT, Uber is launching a load-matching app that it believes will make “logistics and transportation as magical as pressing a button and getting a taxi,” according to Eric Berdinis, product lead for Uber Freight.
Reports of this anticipated expansion of Uber services had surfaced as early as September 2016.
