International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC), a wholly owned subsidiary of American International Group, Inc., announced it completed a total of 130 lease transactions and took delivery of 14 new Boeing 737-800s during the January through June timeframe of 2012. These transactions include extensions as well as new placements from ILFC's portfolio, which supports nearly 200 airlines operating around the world.

"ILFC's mix of aircraft continues to provide airlines around the world with strategic solutions to address their fleet needs," ILFC Chief Executive Officer Henri Courpron commented. "Our decision to open new offices in Amsterdam, Singapore and Beijing in the past year has placed us closer to our customers and proved beneficial in expanding valuable relationships."

ILFC is scheduled to add next generation technology aircraft including Boeing 787s and Airbus NEOs in 2013 and 2015 respectively. ILFC has 74 Boeing 787s on order, which makes ILFC not only the largest 787 lessor, but also the largest customer in the program.

ILFC, a wholly owned subsidiary of American International Group, Inc., is the world's largest independent aircraft lessor measured by number of owned aircraft. ILFC's portfolio consists of over 1,000 owned or managed aircraft, as well as commitments to purchase 242 new high-demand, fuel-efficient aircraft and rights to purchase an additional 50 such aircraft.
