Equipment Finance Cares (EFC) held its last event of 2022 at Blue Street Capital’s new office location in Huntington Beach, CA. The event hosted over 40 equipment finance professionals from 25 different organizations.

“The Blue Street Capital team was an amazing host for our EFC’s second trip to southern California,” said Jesse Johnson, President of Consult Disrupt. “A big thank you to all that attended and the continued support of all EFC sponsors.”

The program offered a two-hour workshop by Hilary Bilbrey on the DH Effect “Connecting for Positive Change.” Attendees were hands on during the session and received valuable take aways that they can introduce at their own organizations including sharing their own authentic “why” for their job, connecting daily tasks back to their company’s mission, and acknowledging teammates for who they are, rather than what they do.

“Everyone in attendance truly came with open minds and hearts. I was incredibly impressed by how vulnerable they were willing to get with one another, while still having fun. How can one not be inspired by a group of humans who get together to ‘do good’ while growing themselves?” Bilbrey said.

EFC showcased six different charities and wrapped up the day with a two-hour networking event. The foundations that were showcased during the event were: Operation Open Water, St. Tam Ky Project, Beyond Blindness, Love Life Now Foundation, Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation, and the Chris Walker Education Fund.
