Alfa Enters the FTSE 250

Alfa, provider of asset finance software platform Alfa Systems, has been included in the FTSE 250 Index.

The FTSE 250 is a capitalization-weighted index consisting of the 101st to the 350th largest companies listed on the London Stock Exchange, the main stock exchange in the UK. Following the latest quarterly review, Alfa’s promotion will be effective from the start of trading on Monday 18th September.

Andrew Denton, Alfa’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “This is another amazing milestone in a year of milestones. Our IPO was always about creating a platform to grow our business, and in the relatively short period since then we've continued to deliver on our strategic plan, maintaining focus on expanding our customer base and on the ongoing development of Alfa Systems.

“2017 has seen the delivery of our next-generation user interface, development for support of elastic SQL database technology, and the productisation of our Cloud offering. The next three to five years will continue the exciting progress made by our Product and R&D teams as we incorporate more functionality and digital channels into Alfa Systems.”

Alfa was admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange on 1st June this year.
