The American Society of Appraisers announced its Advanced Topics and Case Studies (Aviation Specific) course to be held on Thursday, Jan. 17 through Sunday, Jan. 20 2019 in Daytona Beach, FL.

The Advanced Topics in Aircraft Appraisals course, ME203AS (Machinery and Equipment Aircraft Specialty), is the third of four courses on aircraft specific appraisals required as part of the Accredited Member (AM) or Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation awarded by the American Society of Appraisers (ASA).

The course is taught by College of Business faculty and industry practitioners with an ASA designation at the Embry-Riddle Daytona Beach campus. This course builds on the fundamental principles of appraisal terminology, methods and concepts, and basic aircraft terms, aviation concepts and applications discussed in the prior two courses. The program also introduces participants to various aviation specialties including UAS, helicopters, flight simulators and aviation engines. ME203AS will expose participants to a broad spectrum of the aviation world to enhance their career path and professional standing in aircraft appraisals, banking and finance, and related fields.
