BFS Appoints SVP, Business Development Officer

Bibby Financial Services announced an addition to its team, Carol Bader Apicella, as a Senior Vice President and Business Development Officer.

“With over 25 years in the commercial banking and government contractor finance industry verticals, Carol brings considerable knowledge and experience to Bibby Financial Services,” said Jay Gardner, Executive Vice President, National Sales Manager. “She will be a valuable asset to our team, helping us to grow our financing capabilities and strengthen our presence in the Northeast.”

Most recently, Apicella held the position of Senior Vice President and Senior Business Development Officer at White Oak Business Capital. Prior to that, she was a Vice President with Triumph Business Capital. She has also held various positions of responsibility in management and sales, including serving as Vice President and Managing Director at Sterling National Bank, Vice President at Wells Fargo Bank Capital Finance, Commercial Lender at PNC Bank, Finance Marketing Manager at GE Capital Corporation, and Commercial Client Services representative at Exxon-Mobil Corporation.

“Over my years in the financing industry, it has been rewarding to become a trusted business finance partner,” Apicella said. “I look forward to continuing to aid in finding success for my clients with Bibby Financial Services.”

Apicella attended the University of Maryland and earned certifications in SELCOM and Lean Six Sigma. She has held positions in the Commercial Finance Association and has been active in chapters of the Turnaround Management Association, National Contract Management Association, National Veteran Small Business Coalition, and American Staffing Association.

Apicella will be responsible for expanding BFS’s markets and capabilities in the Northeast Region.
