Diversified Transportation Finance Expands Business Development Team

December 20, 2013, 07:03 AM

Diversified Transportation Finance, a subsidiary of Diversified Lenders, Inc., announced the addition of Tyler Atkin and Blake Eskelsen as Business Development Officers.

Diversified Transportation Finance serves the financial needs of trucking companies across the country through factoring, AR finance lines and equipment finance.  Diversified Transportation works with a broad range of carriers with one to hundreds of trucks.

Tyler Atkin comes to Diversified with years of experience marketing and selling to long haul transportation company owners.  Most recently, Tyler spent several years at EFS, a leading fuel card company, where he worked with carriers of varying sizes to manage their fuel network and put together a secure system for carriers to purchase fuel.  Atkin will be managing the Eastern Region for Diversified Transportation Finance.

Blake Eskelsen will be managing the Western Region for Diversified.  Blake comes to Diversified after spending time with Truckers B2B, a marketing company that offers rebates and discounts from industry vendors to small- and medium-sized trucking companies. Prior to Truckers B2B, Blake arranged freight for England Logistics, a subsidiary of C.R. England Trucking.

Eric Myers, President of Diversified Transportation Finance, said, "We are excited to have both Tyler and Blake on the team as we partner with carriers across the country.  Their experiences are a perfect fit for Diversified Transportation as they both understand the needs of the small- and mid-sized carriers and have a track record of working with owners to mutually benefit all parties in solution based marketing.  I look forward to seeing their successes in the coming months."

Diversified Transportation Finance utilizes Diversified Lenders' 28 plus years of experience managing and underwriting factoring and equipment finance transactions of $20,000 to $5 million.
