Lease Corporation of America Forms New Sales Leadership Team

February 12, 2020, 07:25 AM

Lease Corporation of America (LCA), based in Troy, MI, announced the formation of a new sales leadership team to drive the growth of the firm’s small-ticket vendor financing business. This new team will report to Jeff Teucke, Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing.

Gary Hanson joins LCA as a Vice President of Sales. Hanson, working out of the Troy office, was most recently at Sterling National Bank and is a 33-year veteran of the equipment leasing and finance industry where he worked in sales, business development and sales leadership roles throughout his career. Prior to Sterling National Bank, Hanson was with Huntington National Bank Equipment Finance, PNC Equipment Finance and Hitachi Credit America Corp. He will lead an origination team that services the needs of equipment vendors across the United States in multiple markets. Hanson combines his years of experience with a keen sense of knowledge about our industry in a variety of equipment markets including healthcare, transportation, construction, industrial and technology.

Dan Worsley, Vice President of Sales, has been with LCA for over 20 years. Residing in Tampa, FL, Worsley was instrumental in building and managing the Motorola Solutions account for well over 20 years. His leadership and deep domain knowledge have helped grow the company’s footprint within the Motorola Solutions channel partner space by providing targeted finance solutions to their distributors and resellers from coast to coast. Worsley will lead, coach and develop an origination team supporting equipment vendors in a distinct set of markets across the United States.

Anthony Lafata is promoted to Sales Manager, National Accounts and Working Capital. Lafata has been with LCA for nearly 10 years and was most recently a Sr. Account Executive, where he outperformed his sales objectives over the last three years. His innate sense for the keys to successful vendor sales financing, coupled with his solid leadership skills make him an ideal fit to lead these two newly formed sales teams. Lafata will be responsible for helping to grow LCA’s National Account relationships with crisp execution and service levels. He will also drive the Working Capital team in supporting the financing needs of LCA customers throughout the United States.

“I’m delighted to have these three pros on my team providing the kind of hands-on, supportive approach to developing our sales team,” Teucke said. “What we are building here is very exciting and I am fortunate to have such a talented core team with me as we execute on a new strategy for growth.”
