August 05, 2014, 06:40 AM

Advantage Funding has named Carol M. Dmytriw National Sales Manager of the company’s growing Vocational Truck Division. Dmytriw will lead and expand the Division’s national sales team and oversee continued growth of the company’s portfolio. “We’ll do that by working with truck manufacturers, their franchise truck locations, body builders, and upfitters, as well as end-user customers,” Dmytriw said.

“Carol Dmytriw brings to Advantage Funding a wealth of expertise in truck financing and leasing, and an impressive history of success in the transportation finance  industry,” said Edward P. Kaye, President of Advantage Funding. “We are delighted she has joined us and we look forward to the sales leadership Carol brings as we offer our unique lending and leasing programs to more customers throughout the U.S.”

Dmytriw earned her B.S. in business from the University of Nebraska. Prior to her appointment with Advantage Funding, she held leadership positions with The Associates and with Daimler Truck Financial, where she ensured strategic alignment and execution of all sales objectives with brand-partner and franchised dealers for commercial fleet customers.

Advantage Funding is a leading non-captive lender to the U.S. ground transportation industry.  It is a subsidiary of Marubeni America Corporation, the multibillion multinational general Japanese trading company. Advantage Funding’s Vocational Truck Division provides financing and leasing programs for all types of specialty short haul tractors, trailers, and related trucking equipment.
