Delta Financial Adds Banfield and Maloney

Delta Financial announced it added Bill Banfield and Patrick Maloney as Senior Vice President-Direct team members responsible for growing Delta Financial’s direct originations FMV leasing portfolio.

Based in Houston, TX, Banfield has more than 25 years of equipment lease experience with specialized expertise in originating railroad, aviation, utility, manufacturing and automotive industry relationships. Banfield holds a Senior ASA-Mechanical & Technical Specialties (MTS) certification as well as a CLFP designation. Banfield began his career working across various segments of equipment financing industry. He later joined The Connell Company, TCF, Mitsubishi and MitsuCap to manage a team that underwrote and managed relationships for the firm.

Maloney, based in Greenville, SC, has 25 years of equipment leasing experience with specialized expertise in technology refresh programs, VAR operations and transportation asset leasing. Maloney began his career working across various segments of the equipment financing industry. He received an MBA from Crummer Graduate school at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. He later joined Veristor Capital to specialize in software funding alternatives and Information technology funding.
