June 28, 2022, 06:39 AM

PlainsCapital Bank added Philip Ugalde, Jasmine Sadeghpour, and Daniel Wheeler as Senior Vice Presidents and Senior Commercial Loan Officers in its Houston market. Ugalde and Sadeghpour will serve clients from PlainsCapital’s office at 2925 Richmond Avenue, while Wheeler will be in The Woodlands office at 1699 Research Forest Drive.

“We’re very pleased to welcome Philip, Jasmine, and Daniel,” said Houston Region Chairman Danny Schroder. “They each have an impressive level of talent and experience that I know will add tremendous value to PlainsCapital’s initiatives to support the business owners, families, and individuals we serve across the Lone Star State.”

In his new role, Ugalde will be responsible for new business development, portfolio growth, establishing and cultivating referral partner relationships, and expanding the Bank’s presence in Texas. He has more than 29 years of commercial banking and financial services experience, most recently as senior vice president at Regions Financial Corporation. Ugalde received his bachelor’s from the University of Texas at Austin.

Sadeghpour will continue to work with commercial real estate developers and investors, focusing on providing debt solutions for all asset types. She joins PlainsCapital from Frost Bank, where she served as a vice president in its commercial real estate department for more than eight years. Sadeghpour received her BBA in finance from Texas Christian University. As a native Houstonian, she is also a graduate of Memorial High School.

Wheeler will partner with businesses to help meet their goals. He brings more than 26 years of commercial and retail banking experience to his role. Wheeler joins from Pioneer Bank’s commercial lending group, where he served as a senior vice president. He received his BBA in finance from the University of Houston.
