April 03, 2023, 07:18 AM

Tamarack Technology has expanded its AI data engineering team with the addition of Quoc (Tom) Huynh. In his role as a Senior Data Engineer, Huynh will focus on increasing the company’s data integration, analysis and machine learning/AI capabilities for Tamarack’s AI product suite.

“Accessing, analyzing and ultimately using data in AI-automated workflows is the future of business,” said Jeremy Fisher, Manager of Data Engineering at Tamarack Technology. “Tom has a track record of helping companies unlock the full potential of both existing data and the increasing number of data streams in modern, modular architectures. At Tamarack, he will be helping our clients do that and increasing the productivity of their businesses.”

Huynh joins Tamarack from Robins Kaplan LLP where he served as a Developer and Database Administrator. In this role, he developed and deployed dynamic SQL stored procedures and functions to extract, transform and load data from various sources and generate customized reports. Additionally, he designed and implemented data pipelines and workflows to load data from multiple sources into the organization’s data warehouse.

Prior to that position, Huynh spent more than a decade at Wells Fargo Bank where he held a number of roles including Database Administrator, Applications Programmer and Applications Analyst. He began his career as a Software Developer at Open Access Technology International in Minneapolis, MN.

A Minneapolis native, Huynh graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with an undergraduate degree in computer science and a minor in mathematics.
