July 21, 2023, 07:20 AM

EPC Global Solutions, a provider of global ITAD services and a wholly owned subsidiary of CSI Leasing Inc., promoted Chris Hodgkins to Manager of EPC Europe. Previously serving as EPC Europe’s Compliance Manager, Hodgkins will now oversee all operations for EPC throughout the region, including facilities in the UK, Slovakia, Germany and Spain which is scheduled to open later this year.

During his time as compliance manager, Hodgkins skillfully guided EPC UK and EPC Slovakia through the demanding ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certification process, as well as the R2 certification process. In January 2023, he took on the added role of Operations Manager for EPC UK, where he assisted in designing EPC’s new enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution.

“Chris’s disciplined and structured approach helped our facilities in the UK and Slovakia complete certifications ahead of schedule and under budget while simultaneously helping bolster compliance and internal controls,” said Charles Garity, Senior Vice President and EPC International Manager. “With his extensive background and proven track record, I am confident he will lead EPC Europe to success.”

Prior to CSI, Hodgkins spent 15 years at Cadbury where he began his career as an Export Warehouse Operative and rose to Warehouse Operations Manager, overseeing a team of 40 employees. He has also led operations at several international organizations, including Leopold Kostal, Doncasters Bramah and Grunwerg.

With facilities strategically located across the continent, EPC Europe offers comprehensive solutions for the secure and environmentally responsible disposal of electronic assets. Globally, EPC processes 1.6 million assets annually, with 90 percent of them being resold in the secondary market. This commitment to extending the lifespan of IT equipment actively helps companies enhance their ESG initiatives by minimizing the environmental impact of their IT infrastructures.

"I am fully committed to leading EPC Europe in driving sustainable initiatives and delivering exceptional ITAD services for a greener future," said Hodgkins.

By maximizing the value of retired IT equipment through refurbishment, resale and recycling, EPC actively supports its clients in adopting best practices and contributing to the circular economy.
