Beach Cities Commercial Bank (BCCB) announced the addition of Tim Himstreet to its Encinitas Office, where he will team with Mary Purviance.

“Mary and Tim have each built a rich history with the San Diego community and share in common a profound banking expertise that will further enhance Beach Cities Commercial Bank's vision of personalized customer care combined with state-of-the-art technology,” said H. Kent Falk, BCCB’s Chief Executive Officer. “We’re confident that their combined knowledge and experience will be a tremendous asset to the bank.”

Now BCCB’s Senior Vice President and Regional Manager, Purviance started her banking journey in 1974 at Bank of America and has woven an impressive 49-year tapestry in the banking world. Originating from San Diego's Little Italy and now an integral part of Encinitas, Purviance stands as a beacon in community banking, renowned for her exceptional customer service. Her deep ties to the Encinitas community include associations with the Magdalena Ecke YMCA, North County Business Group, Care House Ministries, and the AFE Foundation.

As BCCB's new Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager, Tim Himstreet brings a wealth of experience from his 26-year tenure in commercial banking. Beyond bolstering businesses in the Southern California market, Himstreet's community engagement includes board roles with NAIOP and ARC of San Diego.

“At our core, BCCB continues to shine in our mission to offer ‘Your Bank. Your Way.’ We have pledged to provide clients a tailored banking experience, harmonizing the prowess of large-scale tech with the warmth of community banking,” said Jeffrey S. Redeker, Beach Cities Commercial Bank’s President. “Having Mary and Tim on the team exemplifies this commitment, promising San Diego residents a banking experience that is truly theirs.”
