Hogan Lovells Expands Energy Transition Capabilities with Bonsignore

Global law firm Hogan Lovells announced Michael Bonsignore has joined the Corporate & Finance practice group in Washington, D.C. as a partner in the firm’s Infrastructure, Energy, Resources, and Projects (IERP) practice area. He joins from Clifford Chance.

Global Corporate & Finance Practice Group Leader James Doyle said, “We are delighted that Mike has decided to join us. He has deep experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors with an emphasis on renewables and energy transition. These areas are growing and evolving at an extraordinary pace and are strategic priorities for the firm and many of our clients. Mike is a great addition to our global energy transactions team, building on other recent appointments in London, Germany, and Singapore.”

Bonsignore’s experience covers a broad range of corporate, M&A and project development work, principally in the energy and infrastructure sectors. He has placed clean energy, energy transition, and infrastructure work at the heart of his practice, representing a mix of U.S. and international sponsors, investors, financing parties, and developers.

Bonsignore earned his earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and his B.A. from Boston College.
