Mid Penn Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mid Penn Bancorp, Inc., announced the promotion of Scott Micklewright to President of the commercial and consumer bank and chief revenue officer of the company. In this capacity, Micklewright will oversee all aspects of commercial and consumer banking including loan activity, deposit activity, cash management, interchange and credit card revenue, as well as the regional team structure.

Mid Penn Bank President and CEO Rory Ritrievi said, “Scott has an outstanding record of success at Mid Penn, and we are thrilled to promote him to president of the commercial and consumer bank. Scott’s exceptional leadership and dedication to driving revenue across all markets have been instrumental in the growth of the bank over the last 15 years. His promotion reflects our confidence in his abilities and the significant impact he will make in our future endeavors.”

Micklewright has been an integral part of the bank since joining in 2009. Most recently serving as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer, he was the primary catalyst in the development of a high-performing calling team in commercial lending, cash management, residential mortgage, SBA and agricultural lending. His oversight of these critical areas and strategic insights have played a pivotal role in the Bank’s growth and expansion.

“I am excited to take on this new role at Mid Penn,” Micklewright said. “I have been proud to collaborate with our team to bring industry-leading solutions to our customers, and I look forward to continuing to find innovative ways to serve our customers and communities while scaling the bank for additional profitable growth.”

Micklewright is a native of Central PA and has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Micklewright holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Millersville University.
