Verdant Commercial Capital Grows Industrial Team with Vertical Leader, Relationship Managers

Verdant Commercial Capital has grown its Industrial vertical with three experienced additions. These new team members will deepen the company’s expertise while providing Verdant’s Industrial partners with equipment financing options.

The three newcomers to Verdant’s Industrial Team are:

  • Tom O’Hear, Senior Vice President, Vertical Leader – Industrial. O’Hear has 35 years of vendor finance experience, including 25 at DLL as Global Program Manager. He was one of the founding members of DLL’s Construction, Transportation & Industrial business unit, where he focused on originating and managing key manufacturer relationships. Before DLL, O’Hear held leadership roles with Fleet Bank and BancBoston Leasing in Construction and Industrial markets. O’Hear comes to Verdant as an accomplished executive with extensive local, regional and international experience in financial services industries.
  • Andrew Baccaro is a Relationship Manager covering the Southwest Region. Baccaro has more than 10 years of banking and financial services experience, most recently as Vice President, Sales at Ascentium Capital (Ascentium) for nearly six years. At Ascentium, he developed vendor finance relationships to grow originations in multiple industries, including Industrial, Manufacturing, Technology and Health/Wellness. Baccaro started his career in UMB Bank’s Emerging Leaders Program while holding roles in Credit Underwriting, Portfolio Management and Sales.
  • Ryan van de Boogaard is a Relationship Manager covering the Northwest Region. Van de Boogaard has more than 20 years of financial services experience, including 16 years at Key Equipment Finance (KEF). He held various roles at KEF in sales and operations. In his most recent role, he supported and assisted in the development and growth of commercial vendor programs. Van de Boogaard managed relationships with manufacturer and vendor teams by providing customized solutions to help sell their products.
