BriteCap Financial LLC announced the promotion of Molly Coleman to Chief Administrative Officer & General Counsel.
“Molly has been instrumental in shaping the backbone of BriteCap for nearly 15 years,” said Richard Henderson, CEO of BriteCap Financial. “This promotion not only recognizes her deep legal and compliance expertise, but also her exceptional judgment, operational discipline and ability to lead cross-functional teams through growth and change. We’re proud to elevate her to this new role as we continue building a world-class organization.”
This move reflects BriteCap’s commitment to building a best-in-class operational infrastructure as the company continues its evolution into the benchmark standard in small business lending. In her expanded role, Coleman will oversee Legal, Compliance, Human Resources, Contract Administration, Operational Controls, Enterprise Enablement, Customer Service and the company’s Offshoring and BPO strategy — functions essential to scaling a high-performing,
values-driven organization.
“I am honored to step into this expanded role at such a pivotal time in BriteCap’s journey,” said Molly. “Over the past 14 years, I’ve seen firsthand the impact we can have on small businesses across the country. I’m excited to help scale our operations with the same values-driven approach that has always defined us — ensuring we remain agile, compliant and deeply committed to our customers and our people."
Coleman earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where she graduated magna cum laude, was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as Executive Editor of The Georgetown Law Journal. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Brown University.
She brings over two decades of experience advising small and medium-sized businesses across capital markets, regulatory compliance, strategic partnerships, risk mitigation, litigation and corporate governance. Coleman has served as General Counsel for BriteCap and its predecessor company for more than 14 years, consistently bringing a practical, business-oriented approach to legal and compliance leadership.
Earlier in her career, she clerked for the Hon. Joseph M. McLaughlin of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and practiced law at top firms including Irell & Manella and Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison (now part of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP). She also served as an Adjunct Professor at Loyola Law School.
This promotion comes as BriteCap accelerates its push to deliver an industry-leading customer experience while optimizing every stage of its operations to support scale, efficiency and purpose-driven growth.
