Pinnacle Financial Partners, a bank based in Nashville, Tenn., has hired a team to serve clients in South Alabama, expanding its commitment to delivering distinctive service throughout the Southeast. Leading the charge is Jennifer Pelham, a seasoned banking leader with more than 20 years of experience, who will serve as regional president of the Gulf Coast.

Pelham brings decades of commercial banking expertise, most recently serving as regional middle market relationship manager at Hancock Whitney Bank, where she cultivated and managed relationships with some of the largest and most established middle market clients in Alabama. Her career also includes leadership roles as a senior corporate relationship manager for Royal Bank of Canada and community banking experience at Wachovia Bank. Pelham has been recognized with multiple honors for her ability to build long-term relationships and deliver strategic financial solutions.

Joining Pelham are three highly accomplished financial professionals: Financial Advisor Angela Dunn, Financial Advisor Assistant Tabitha Kelley and Credit Advisor Claire McCarron.
Dunn is a highly regarded commercial banker with more than two decades of leadership experience. She most recently served as senior vice president of middle market banking at Hancock Whitney Bank, where she advised complex business clients across diverse industries. Her career spans roles as director of planned giving for the University of South Alabama and staff accountant for Cooper/T. Smith Corporation. She maintains an active Certified Public Accountant license.
Kelley brings more than 20 years of banking operations experience to the firm. She has been a lead client administrator officer at Hancock Whitney Bank since 2008. Her earlier roles include client administration and branch management at Wachovia Bank and teller management at SouthTrust Bank. She is known for her deep client relationships, operational excellence and dedication to supporting relationship managers and clients alike.
McCarron is a seasoned commercial lending and credit professional who most recently served as senior vice president at Hancock Whitney Bank, focusing on portfolio management for middle market clients. Her extensive career also includes executive leadership roles at BBVA Compass Bank, Regions Bank, RBC Centura Bank and AmSouth Bank, where she managed commercial portfolios, private wealth relationships and complex credit structures.
The team is committed to delivering Pinnacle’s signature high-touch approach, offering a full range of financial services backed by local decision-making and deep market knowledge. They are working toward opening the firm’s first of two initial offices in the region to serve commercial, private banking and all other clients with an emphasis on building lasting relationships and delivering unmatched personal attention.
