Clarus Capital announced that Zamane Bodini has joined the firm as Director. In this role, Bodini will focus on sponsor coverage, working to deepen relationships with private equity firms and expand Clarus’ origination capabilities. Based in Chicago, she will lead coverage of the Midwest sponsor market, working closely with Jake Skivington and Pat McAuliffe to advance Clarus’ growth and relationships within the sponsor finance market.
Bodini brings over a decade of experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, and capital markets to Clarus. Most recently, she served as Vice President in the investment banking group at BMO Capital Markets, where she provided strategic advisory and transaction execution services to leading private equity and corporate clients across the food, consumer and retail sectors. Prior to BMO, she was an equity analyst at GAMCO Investors covering the consumer vertical. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business.
“We are excited to welcome Zamane to Clarus,” said Skivington. “Her investment banking and leveraged finance experience, coupled with her ability to build sponsor relationships, positions us for growth in the important Midwest sponsor community while furthering our ability to provide the dedicated coverage, execution reliability, and partnership that’s at the core of Clarus’ approach to sponsor lending.”
Bodini added, “I’m excited to join Clarus Capital at such a pivotal point in its growth. Clarus has built a best-in-class private credit equipment finance platform, and I look forward to helping expand its reach and continued success in the market.”
