Element Names Jackson VP of Asset Management

March 20, 2015, 07:07 AM

Element Financial announced the appointment of Mr. Craig Jackson as Vice President of its Asset Management group.

In this position, Mr. Jackson will oversee residual settings, asset management studies, and remarketing efforts. He will report to David Kovacs, Senior Vice President of Portfolio and Asset Management for Element Financial Corp. (USA), based out of their Horsham, PA location.

Craig brings to Element an experienced background with over 30 years in the Asset Management industry. Prior to Element, he held senior level roles at ICON Investments and Chancellor Fleet Corporation. Craig started with ICON in 2006 where he was responsible for valuation of equipment and the servicing of a $1 billion portfolio, consisting of energy related assets for oil, gas and coal, industrial assets for aerospace manufacturing, commercial printing, transportation, telecommunications, shipping, and aircraft. Most recently he held the position of Managing Director for Asset Management at ICON.

“As origination volume increases for Element, it is extremely important to manage equipment risk,” Mr. Jackson stated. “I am looking forward to assisting our vendor partners with equipment valuation services and providing our origination team the tools they need to provide outstanding service to our customers.”

“We are excited to have Craig join the management team at Element,” David Kovacs stated. “His experience will be invaluable in Element’s growth, especially as we expand in the Energy and Transportation industries.”
