Van Zalen Appointed Chief Risk Officer of DLL

DLL announced the appointment of Tom van Zalen to the position of Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and Member of the DLL Executive Board. Effective January 22, 2026, he will assume management responsibility for DLL’s Risk and Compliance domains globally.

Van Zalen joins DLL from Knab, a Dutch neobank, where he served as Chief Risk Officer and Member of the Executive Board. Prior to joining Knab, he was Head of Credit Risk Management for ING Netherlands. He is an experienced risk leader with a successful career in the financial services industry spanning both financial and non-financial risk functions.
