The National Equipment Finance Association (NEFA) announced its 2026 Spring Conference, bringing together professionals from across the equipment finance industry for high-impact education, strategic insights and meaningful networking.
This year’s conference features a powerful lineup of plenary sessions, breakout education tracks, a nationally recognized keynote speaker and a hands-on charity event benefiting the NEFA Foundation.
Keynote Speaker
As we Chart New Waters, keynote speaker Chad Williams, former U.S. Navy SEAL, will share battle-tested leadership protocols to help you navigate pressure and perform at your best.
In SEVEN: Battle-Tested SEAL Team Leadership Protocols, Williams will share real-world lessons from a mission that turned into a premeditated ambush and the repeatable leadership protocols his team relied on to perform under extreme pressure.
Plenary Session
The U.S. Economy: Remarkably Resilient – Economist Elliot Eisenberg Ph.D., will deliver a timely overview of the economic landscape, covering GDP trends, interest rates, inflation, labor markets and recession outlook, providing insight equipment finance professionals can use to plan strategically.
Breakout Sessions
Targeted education tracks include:
- Marketing Value Prop 101 – A hands-on workshop to help attendees refine and strengthen their company’s value proposition.
- Professional Broker/Lessor Education Series – A educational program is a part of a 7-part series, delivered at each conference plus virtually, focused on developing and strengthening originators within the equipment finance industry.
- Legal Insights: Best Practices in AI, Bankruptcy, and Litigation – A forward-looking panel addressing legal trends impacting the industry.
NEFA Foundation Charity Event
The NEFA Foundation’s Compass for Change event will bring attendees together to pack weekend meals for children facing food insecurity. Proceeds benefit Blessings in a Backpack and the Chris Walker Education Fund, reinforcing NEFA’s commitment to community impact.
