PlainsCapital Bank announced that Anthony White has joined its San Antonio lending team as Senior Vice President, Senior Relationship Manager.

In his new role, White will deliver a full range of commercial banking services to businesses and organizations throughout Greater San Antonio. He will work closely with clients to provide tailored capital solutions that support growth and strengthen financial strategies.

White brings nearly 30 years of experience in commercial and corporate lending, helping organizations access the capital, guidance, and banking solutions they need. His background includes serving clients in the commercial, nonprofit, health care, higher education, and municipal sectors across Texas.

Before joining PlainsCapital Bank, White held senior commercial banking roles at several major financial institutions. He served as Senior Vice President at Regions Bank, where he helped expand the bank’s presence in South Texas. At Amegy Bank, he focused on public sector lending and strategic growth initiatives. White also spent more than 24 years at Frost Bank, where he played a key role in building the bank’s public finance group and leading commercial banking efforts across South Texas.
“Anthony’s experience will help us continue to strengthen relationships and grow our presence in the San Antonio market,” said Steve Hambrick, Texas Region Chair of PlainsCapital Bank.

White earned his MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University. He is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. Active in the community, White has served on numerous boards, including Villa Finale Museum & Gardens, Alamo Colleges Foundation, and the Texas A&M San Antonio Foundation.

“I’m excited to join a team that’s deeply invested in San Antonio,” said White. “This city has such a strong business community, and I look forward to building relationships and helping local organizations get the resources they need to grow and succeed.”
