Retzer brings more than 16 years of experience in financial services. He most recently served as Assistant Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Happy State Bank. Prior to that, he held a similar role with Texas Bank and Trust and served as Vice President, Commercial Lending at PointBank. Earlier in his career, Retzer held various credit analysis and commercial lending roles at several Texas community banks.

He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of North Texas and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University. He is also a graduate of Leadership Flower Mound’s Class of 2025.
