Peakline Partners announced that it has acquired Kalon Capital, a mid-ticket equipment finance platform that provides financing solutions to businesses across the United States.

Based in Stamford, Conn., Kalon provides tailored equipment financing solutions to businesses seeking a responsive, relationship-driven capital partner. Kalon serves a diverse range of industries that form the backbone of the U.S. economy, including manufacturing, industrial services, construction, technology and critical infrastructure.

“Since founding Kalon, our mission has been to deliver thoughtful, flexible financing solutions that help businesses invest in their growth. Joining Peakline marks an exciting next chapter, providing us with the scale, institutional resources and strategic relationships to accelerate our growth while continuing to deliver the high-touch service our clients and partners expect. We're excited to bring our expertise to Peakline and build an even stronger equipment finance platform together,” said Nicole Torraco, Founder and CEO of Kalon Capital.

With the addition of the Kalon team, which includes Chief Financial Officer Joost van Brakel and Chief Credit and Operating Officer Andrea Zana, Peakline will significantly expand its equipment finance platform.

“Kalon has built an outstanding reputation for disciplined underwriting, deep industry expertise and a client-first approach to equipment finance. Nicole and her team have created a platform that aligns perfectly with our long-term vision. This partnership significantly strengthens our equipment financing capabilities, expands our ability to originate transactions directly, and enhances the value we can deliver to businesses, investors, and strategic partners across the country,” said Kevin O’Donnell, Executive Managing Director for Peakline Partners.

“As we continue to scale our efforts at Peakline in differentiated, tax-advantaged private credit on behalf of our investors, we are excited to expand our capabilities in various segments across equipment finance. We were immediately impressed by Nicole and the team she has built, and we look forward to working together with them to build a durable, long-term equipment finance business,” said Chris Boehm, Co-Founder and Executive Managing Director of Peakline Partners.
