EDGE, the cashflow bureau and consumer reporting agency built by lenders for lenders, announced the appointment of Eric Werab as Chief Revenue Officer. Werab will lead an expanded commercial and customer-facing team with dedicated coverage across banks, credit unions, nonbank lenders, and other businesses that assess consumer risk. He brings extensive experience scaling financial technology businesses and helping lenders translate complicated risk signals into practical solutions.
“Eric has spent his career helping financial institutions and other lenders tackle complex challenges with data and technology, building and leading teams that connect innovative products to real business needs,” said Brian Reshefsky, CEO of EDGE. “We’ve built a strong foundation serving dozens of lenders and, under Eric’s leadership, will extend our capabilities to a broader range of financial institutions and other businesses that assess consumer risk. Eric will build the specialized sales and customer-facing teams needed to deliver tailored solutions and hands-on service across these markets.”
Werab brings more than 20 years of experience in financial technology commercialization and growth, with a track record of building and leading commercial organizations to bring innovative risk solutions to market. Most recently Senior Vice President of Americas Sales at global identity and fraud leader GBG, he previously held commercial leadership roles at NeuroID, Prove, Point Predictive, and Fiserv with experience spanning growth-stage technology companies and established financial services providers – all focused on delivering solutions to banks, credit unions, and other lenders.
“EDGE has built a differentiated cashflow bureau grounded in successful lending experience, with capabilities that address the full consumer credit lifecycle,” said Werab. “Cashflow intelligence is playing an increasingly important role alongside traditional bureau data in how lenders evaluate risk and manage credit. EDGE has the technology, analytics, and firsthand lending expertise to lead that evolution. I'm excited to expand the EDGE network and help more institutions put those capabilities to work.”
