Ritchie Bros. sold more than $50 million of equipment and trucks at its unreserved public auction in Fort Worth, Texas on May 6 – 7, 2015. The two-day auction set a new Fort Worth site record for number of lots sold, with more than 3,900 items being sold to bidders around the world, including 310+ truck tractors, 290+ trailers, 95+ excavators, 45+ flatbed trucks, 50 crawler tractors, 40+ dump trucks, 40+ winch tractors, 35+ farm tractors, and much more. More than 4,000 people from 49 countries registered to bid in person and online at rbauction.com.

"This continues to be a very strong year for our Fort Worth site," said Dolan Aucoin, Regional Sales Manager, Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers. "Across the board, pricing was solid in the auction, with quality construction, agriculture and transportation equipment attracting a lot of new bidders and strong competition. Every piece of the record-setting selection of equipment was sold to the highest bidder, with no reserve prices and no minimum bids."

Buyers from outside Texas purchased approximately $27 million of equipment and trucks (or 55 percent of total gross auction proceeds). Equipment sold to buyers from as far away as Australia, Chile, Italy, Taiwan and the United Arab Emirates.
