Auction highlights included 325+ trailers, 300 truck tractors, 110+ excavators, 50+ flatbed trucks, 45+ winch tractors, 40+ dozers, 35+ dump trucks, and 20 farm tractors. More than 3,700 people from 59 countries registered to bid in person, online at rbauction.com and by proxy.

"In spite of the hot and humid weather, this week's auction drew large crowds and intense bidding due to the great selection of construction equipment, cranes, trucks and trailers, including a large quantity of heavy haul oilfield transportation and oil and gas-related equipment," said Alan McVicker, Regional Sales Manager, Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers. "As with all Ritchie Bros. auctions, every piece was sold to the highest bidder, with no reserve prices and no minimum bids."

Buyers from outside Texas purchased US$18+ million (41%) of equipment and trucks, with equipment sold to buyers from as far away as Bolivia, France, and New Zealand Online bidders purchased US$20+ million (44%) of the equipment in the auction.
